PRIVACY POLICY FOR BABY GENESIS

Welcome to Baby Genesis ("we," "our," or "us"). This policy explains how we handle information when you use the Baby Genesis mobile application (the "App").
Data Collection and Local Storage
Baby Genesis is designed with your privacy in mind. You do not need to create a user account, and we do not collect, store, or transmit the personal information you enter in the App to our external servers.
- App DataEverything you enter in the App — including your baby’s name, date of birth, sleep records, feeding records, diaper records, and journal entries — is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this data.
- Camera and PhotosThe App may request access to your camera or photo library solely so you can set a profile picture for your baby. Those images remain on your device and are never uploaded, shared, or transmitted to us or third parties.
Data Retention and Deletion
Baby Genesis keeps your data and records locally on your device while the App is installed or until you delete them yourself. You can delete all App data by opening the Profile screen, scrolling to the bottom, and selecting Delete Profile. This permanently removes saved records, the profile, and settings from the App’s local storage. If you delete the App or clear its data, local records are removed unless they were preserved through an operating-system-level device backup.
Website Analytics
On the website, we use Plausible Analytics to understand aggregate visits, traffic sources, viewed pages, and clicks to the App Store and Google Play. Our implementation does not send names, email addresses, content entered in the App, or baby data as analytics properties.
Third-Party Services (Advertising)
To support development of the App, we use Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service.
- Advertising IdentifiersAdMob may use device identifiers such as Apple’s Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) or the Android advertising ID and may process information that does not directly identify you, such as your IP address and device information. This may be used to provide personalized or non-personalized advertising and to help prevent fraud.
- Your Local App DataWe do not share local App data, such as your records or photos, with Google AdMob.

Data Security
Because your personal App data is stored on your device, its security depends on the security of that device. We recommend using device protections such as a screen lock or biometric authentication. If you uninstall the App or clear its data, locally stored records are permanently removed unless you previously preserved them through a device backup.
Children’s Privacy
The App is a tool intended for parents, guardians, and adults who care for a child. It is not intended for independent use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Information about a baby or child is entered by an adult user and remains stored locally on that user’s device.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be made available in the App or on the Baby Genesis download page. We recommend reviewing this page periodically for the latest information.
